Pyrite is associated with the third chakra, the center of emotions. In the past it was used to warm the body, but also as a protective amulet.
Its dominant element, however, is precisely fire. It is the name itself that reminds us of this. Pyrite derives from "pyr", that is "fire".
It acts at the circulatory level and also helps prevent anemia. It works on inner conflicts and repressed emotions, and pushes us to investigate ourselves to discover our nature, for better or for worse.
