Cross symbol of the Presbyterian Church, a Christian church that was born above all from the Calvinist reform and which provides for the application of the model considered to be the New Testament to the local Christian community. At the base of this organization are the "elders" or presbyters, responsible for the local Christian community, elected by the assembly of its members.
