St. Nicholas of Bari, also known as St. Nicholas of Myra, St. Nicholas, St. Nicholas (or St. Nicholas) was a Greek bishop of Myra, revered as a saint by the Catholic Church, the Orthodox Church and several other Christian denominations. He is considered a miroblite saint. The figure of him gave rise to the tradition of Santa Claus, a character also known outside the Christian world. According to tradition, his relics are kept in Bari and Venice.
On the sides there is the enigmatic Latin inscription engraved on the plan of an altar, which no one has ever managed to understand the meaning. A common belief is that it is a cryptogram, an encrypted message delivered to history by the centuries-old Nicolaian tradition, waiting to be decrypted.
