The Cingolati (Cingulata) are an order of xenartri mammals, widespread in North America and especially in South America, which currently include the only family of the Dasipodids (Dasypodidae), that is the armadillos. The armadillo and the totem-animal of medicine shields. On these shields, or emblems, what the Sherpa desired was always represented. The strength of the armadillo teaches balance in choices that should not be rushed and helps to distance oneself from unclear situations.
